The act of airport dressing may be something of a lost art, but there are a few celebrities who are striving to bring it back, from Rihanna to Angelina Jolie. And while you might be thinking you’d prefer to stick with your sweats, stylist Elizabeth Stewart appreciates a good airport look too, as she recently applauded her client Cate Blanchett for her mile-high style.
Stewart shouted out Blanchett in a new Instagram post, where she captured the star’s all-denim look for a recent trip through the skies. “The master of airport style 🛫,” Stewart wrote.

Blanchett went with a fit that was simultaneously sleek and cozy, choosing a denim uniform from Rag & Bone that consisted of a cropped bomber jacket and joggers made of a light-wash denim, with cream details along the jacket’s collar and zipper.
Underneath her bomber, Blanchett layered a white T-shirt, and she slung a gray Louis Vuitton bag over her arm, which had brown leather details on the inside. As for accessories, the Borderlands star added a few pops of color, including a pair of Emmanuelle Khanh cat-eye sunglasses in butter yellow (the It girl color of the moment) and a set of tricolor Diadora × Colville sneakers that had stripes of green, black, and white, giving them a slight resemblance to bowling shoes.

As the boss of re-wearing looks on the red carpet and finding new methods for being sustainable, Blanchett is always pushing the boundaries of fashion. Now, it seems her next mission is to bring back airplane dressing—and thank goodness for that.
