Lady Gaga knows how to get the party started.
The superstar was the first performer to take the stage along the Seine River for the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony, singing a rendition of the French song “Mon Truc En Plume.” Gaga brought a healthy dose of glamour to the ceremony in her Dior Haute Couture ensemble, which consisted of an elegant black leotard, matching evening gloves, and classic black heeled pumps. (She even had a crystal-embellished microphone.) Her glam was Parisian-approved, too: she wore a classic red lip, with her platinum blonde hair pulled back in a chignon. Gaga’s dancers circled the star as she sang, incorporating pale pink pom-poms and larger-than-life feathers into the choreography.

The singer recently told Empire that her fans should expect the unexpected when it comes to her portayal of Harley Quinn in the upcoming sequel.
“People know me by my stage name, Lady Gaga, right? That’s me as that performer, but that is not what this movie is; I’m playing a character. So I worked a lot on the way that I sang to come from Lee, and to not come from me as a performer,” she told the outlet. “It’s unlike anything I’ve ever done before.”
